Rear Camber Kit Install......HELP!!!!
What’s up guys, I need some of our expert advice...
I installed the Wicked rear camber kit yesterday, but when go to tighten the nut under the ball joint it does not tighten and lock into place. It just keeps spinning and spinning, there is enough room for me to slide the locking pin into place, but the nut never fully tightened. Is this normal? Or am I doing something wrong?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated…
....this happened on both passanger and driver side, another thing that i noticed is that when i get to a certain point of tightenign the nut, the bolt thats attached to the balljoint starts to spin too.
thanks

yea dude I got my rear camber set to -1.5 on both corners on the count that I have 17x9 +45 on 255/40-17 and I might throw in an 8mm or 5mm spacer to make it flush
I've had them for 400+ miles and can tell you this much, its solid ($112 on flebay)

You Need a Pry Bar
Take a pry bar and place it so that the bar is pressing down the top of the ball joint (toward the middle of the spindle). Once you have pressure applied here, you can then tighten the nut without the joint spinning, or it will spin substantially less. This works well with 2 people - one to apply pressure with the pry bar and one to tighten the nut.
