Racingbrake Rear Slotted Rotors + ET500 Pads Installed

Check out last weekend's project: New Racingbrake slotted rotors + RB ET 500 pads.

Big thanks to Marcus at Heeltoeauto, Great price and great shipping (from Cali all the way to NY)

Here's a pic of my old rotors & pads:

New RB Setup:

Impressions: Incredibly high quality on the rotors. The black "E-Coat" seems like it will last and prevent rusting. Slots are coated over to as you can see in pic #2. Truly top notch stuff.

Followed the included bedding in procedure; pads grip well, smooth as silk and no squealing whatsoever!

Previous to this I installed Racingbrake stainless braided lines, flushed the brake fluid with Motul 5.1, and painted the calipers black, all in all it adds up to a nice setup imo.

Let me know what you guys think!

I'm getting the same wear pattern on my rears even thought the pads have lots of life left. Slotted rotors are really not needed on the rear of the car, but will the enable the crud that causes this uneven wear patter to be ejected instead of contained by the brake pad? Anybody have any experience witht his. BTW using this rotor with ETB 300 on the fronts.

Sounds like your rear caliper(s) are hung up. Dirt, crud and rust causes the pads to stick, preventing the caliper from properly sliding. (I truly hate these single piston floating caliper brake designs, Brembo-style enclosed calipers are much better imo)

Its easily fixable yourself if you feel somewhat inclined to.
