quick performance question

New(ish) here. I've been looking for a TL for awhile but haven't been able to find the one i want at the right price. I finally came across an 05 6 speed that already has the a-spec front lip and a trunk lip spoiler which were going to be my first two mods. I've been reading on the site for awhile so I don't ask questions covered 100 times. My first mod I plan on doing is the RV6 j-pipe. I don't have enough for a full catback. I was wondering what you guys would suggest I do after that? I don't want to do the pcd's because of emissions and smell. I was thinking about the lightweight crank pulley and (or) aem V2. I've read a couple times the intake is only good for like 1-2hp but then other people swear by it. So looking for some direction. Thank you.

I dont want to drop it, or really alter the suspension at all short of maybe a rear sway bar which I think I've read is semi-common around here. I lowered my mustang, previous car, and it sucked it my town. So suspension is pretty much out really. thanks though. I also think the type-s tail lights look much better, are they plug and play if I purchase a set? The tl's come with hid's stock right? So not really a need for an upgrade there I assume.

yes the type-s tails are plug and play. hid is stock, unless you just want to have them modded as well. most do. lots you can do with the heads.

JnC, AckTL05, are both people on this forum that do custom work on heads/tails. do a search

Welcome to AZ! The CAI and pulley are the ones I was thinking about doing first in terms of performance, so I would have to agree with you. Maybe a throttle body spacer also?
