Your post is in the 2G TL section, but your car is not a 2G. Thus, you posted in the wrong section =].

I agree with headers.

3G TL (04-08) don't have headers.. their exhaust manifolds are casted onto the block...

but they do have precat deletes, j-pipe, and race pipe/test pipe.

the J-pipe is the best bang for the buck.
The RV6 V3 Jpipe is the greatest and latest pipe that debuted in march of 2010.

Supercharger or Turbo make some good quick power... Do some research and reading!

Quick HP? Onlything that comes to mind is Nitrous. It is quick and cheap. But I wouldn't do it. I would go with FI.

Here's an idea:
Go buy a car that is actually fast instead of dropping loads of money into a heavy FWD semi luxury car that will never be fast.

i agree with jackson615, except for the fact that i think the TL is pretty fast being a FWD car. the TLs performance upgrades is pretty limited compared to many other cars. im all about the drive for my personal enjoyment and also style of course. the upgrades we get will give us a better edge over our stock rival cars, but when those cars become fully built, our mods wont help you keep up.

if i wanted speed id go with a lightweight 2 seater and boost that little monster.

While I completely agree that the TL doesn't have tons of power potential, the OP didn't ask how he can make 400 WHP.

OP, the j-pipe suggestion was a good one, and not difficult to install. Catback exhaust is also easy. Precat deletes are quite a bit more work. And you've already got a CAI.

After that, you're probably reaching the point of diminishing returns. This isn't an Evo, it is a FWD semi-luxury sedan. My outlook is this: get a little bit more power out of the car with the simpler mods above, make it look nice to your taste, improve the handling, and enjoy a reliable DD with a little bit of power to get out of its own way.
