quick clutch question...
quick clutch question...
ok ...i put back my stock cmc with all the stock lines...when i bleed the clutch i get no air bubbles at all...the clutch seems to engage fine at first but when i drive around it loses pressure ...i have to pump the clutch at every light just to get it in first.. everything is brand new...what can it be???????
Bleed it a lil more and it might take care of it. If it doesnt go away your CMC might have crapped out on you. My buddies and my personal old car have done it before. You will be able to engage gear then lose pressure...if it gets bad enough it will have pressure then it will completely depressurize.
Bleeding the clutch was the strange for me. If you used the pump method, did you limit the travel of the slave?
I used a vacuum bleeder and found it took several passes to get it to function correctly. I ended up going through at least a full tank of fluid.
