Talking Questions on Exhaust? Results from a Race...

What catback exhaust would you recommend?
What are all the types of catback exhausts that they make for a 2005 TL?
Any other suggestions?

I finally got around to racing my friends 2007 Honda Civic Si today...
First of all that car is one sharp car...

Well I beat him from a 20mph start.
And I also beat him from the line.
But, He was always on my tail. His drivers side window was always beside my rear window.

He ordered an exhaust the other day and is pretty excited about it. So he kind of motivated me to look into exhausts.

Bought me some blue LED's today

You have a couple choices

Greddy Evo
Comptech Catback (hard to get nowadays)
Custom catback
Or
Atlp catback (acuratlparts.com)

Id say ATLP exhaust. I saw it in person today and heard it. It's better then tommy's current exhaust hahaha. a lot better.

Honestly, I looked at it closely and its just straight great quality. I'd stake my rep on it. It's got my stamp of approval.

One obstacle for the ATLP exhaust however is that you need to modify your rear bumper or install an 07 Type-S rear aspec lip (which requires modification of the rear bumper anyway) for that extra clearance in the exhaust cutout

The whole, you need to get a new bumper, is what turned me off of the ATLP...

Comptech vs Greddy

Are the Greddy's too big. Is that a bad thing.
Are the Comptech too small.
They are both beasts, with great quality, without a doubt.
Which one would you go for?

We will be offering a catback exhaust system for the base TL shortly and then the TL-S shortly after the base TL exhaust is finished.
