Is there a way i can modify my computer of transmission so i have the control of it for downshit to 1 well have control of it

You can gate shift the car manually.
Hold first all you want,or drive slowly in 2nd and then drop to 1st.

Are you racing ?
I would not want to go from drive to first in these cars ,the rpms would reach redline too quick. I don't think first gear is long enough for that.

 

the 04-05 (not sure about the 05) you cant hold the 1st gear....

so even when in M mode, the computer shifts from 1-2 automatically and will hold 2nd until redline if you want....I know for sure in 07-08 they changed this and you can hold 1st....

am guessing changing the ECU and TCM can get you that feature....is it worth the headache? I dont think so

 

Yea in sport shift mode it will always shift to 2nd for you.
You might be able to do something to shift to and hold first from 2nd in sport mode,I don't think anyone has.
The shifts from the sport shift mode are to lazy anyway.

You might be better off figuring out how to get the trans to shift quicker.

But like I said
If you want first, put it in first and shift a little before redline every gear and that might get your best performance.

 

You can put it in "L" to hold first gear and then bump it into sport shift for the rest but it's not very convenient and there aren't many reasons to hold it in first.

 

I hold mine in first at the track and manually 1 2 3 so I don't get no automactic down shift.

 

Fine i think i will just learn to live with it and its not really for track only for street to get more fun
