Procat CEL?

I posted in the 'problems & fixes' also...

For those with the E-shift procats, anyone have and CEL issues? i have a CEL for my knock sensor and was wondering if anyone had similar...p0320 or something..?

sure it's knock sensor? be sure of the code first..

Its the knock sensor for SURE. i just don't remember the code #.

Sounds like it might be the Comptech ACM, have you tried disconnecting the knock sensor wire from the unit itself like some others have done on the forum?

The knock sensor has nothing to do with the cats. The only code that could be related to any high flow cats is P0420 which is Cat Efficiency Below Threshold and that typically happens b/c the stock ECU has stringent paraments on what it believes flow should be and high flow cats flow beyond that.

I didn't know anyone disconnected this. What would that do? wouldn't that just cause the CEL to remain on?
