He posted his numbers in another thread (don't remember which one)...let's just say my almost stock car could probably keep up with his . The poor guy needs a tune like I need to win the lottery.
Eric, take a couple days off of work and send all of the required parts to Hondata...it'll be worth it...you're leaving too much on the table as is.

I have been working with the supercharger system for over 18 months and have been developing the software to a point where it makes a big difference to someone who has a supercharger with the ACM. The TL runs like it was supercharged from the factory.
The reasons I am asking for testers, is that in the small samples of TLs I have had, there have been performance variations in otherwise identical setups. This goes for the NA TLs I have tested as well. In addition the TL performs significantly differently on the dyno than it does on the road. This alone has added months to the development. We appreciate those who have been and are still working with us.
The release of this product has involved a tremendous amount of work. There are not one, but 6 reflashes, one for each year 2004, 2005 & 2006, MT and Auto. It is unlikely we will recover even 1/4 of our costs with the supercharger reflash, but we invested this time as we believe there is a lot of future potential.
Once the framework is in place for reflashing the TL ECUs for the supercharger it becomes easier to develop other products for the TL. For example our technology could be applied to a turbo system.
Later this year / early next we will look more closely at the NA TL. What we have found so far is:
- Dropping the VTEC point is detrimental unless you have low restriction catalytic converters and a low restriction exhaust.
- RL cams can be fitted and tuned for, but the VTEC point needs to be raised
- The NA reflash in the two TLs we have worked with, perform better on the road than on the dyno.
There are many possibilities, but we cannot do every combination.
To answer other questions:
If a customer with one our reflashes upgrades of another of our reflashes there is a lower charge. For example 600 for the first reflash and 300 for the next. In this case the reflash upgrade only applies to the ECU. Ie if the car is sold with a reflash, the new owner may upgrade. We keep a record of the serial numbers.

I finally crawled out from under my rock...
How did I miss this thread for this long??? I got the reflash done a few months ago, but my gains look nothing like that!!! Then again, Ussi's modded up the yinyang with that dyno pull.
I pulled 294 hp and 260 TQ w/ 5AT s/c & procats
Ussi pulled 327 HP and 280 TQ w/ 6MT, procats/third delete, j-pipe, s cams, port n polish, comptech/HKS exhaust & more?? Did I miss anything Ussi?
But Hondata, If you say a stock TL pulls a 240 HP on the dynapack, wouldn't a 54 HP gain for s/c & procats be a bit small? I think my reflash need updating, but I would rather wait for HBP reflash.
I've been calling Autowave every couple of weeks asking for updates & offering my car for testing. But so far; no significant updates and no need for my car. It would be nice to be in direct communication w/ Doug/Hondata.
Let me know if u need a tester! I'm close by and willing. '06 5AT TL
Thanks for all your support!!

ill ask doug if he needs you when I talk to him. If you plan to put the hbp on you will need to put on the stock rsx type s injectors so you dont go lean. Do you have the money for the rsx type s injectors ? ... if so hondata might need you.

I got you hooked up with doug directly. So as long as you have about 700 to 1000 for the injectors and labor unless you put it in yourself. pm me for my cell and I will inform you more.

i dont get it. one member on v 6 p just recently dyno'd his v6 accord (3.0 5AT) 293hp at churches. besides having RDX injectors (410cc) and exhaust, everything else is pretty much stock. he tuned just the a/f only, since we havent figured out how to open the ignition maps yet.
i dyno'd at 328hp/280tq at churches, with the same #'s as ussi. i have procats, RSX injectors, comptech exhaust, but still have the stock pulley, stock jpipe, no cams and third cat, i too am using the greddy ultimate with only the a/f tuned. something is just not right here ??
i also got my car tuned with the greddy blue on the same day. though i was able to open the timing map with it, i made 329hp @ 6000rpm but for some reason, it go rich, then lean out again so basically it would go from 329hp @ 6000 rpm, then dip down to 305hp @ 6300 rpm, then go back up to 328hp @ redline...man, if only we were able to keep the hp curve going up, who knows how much power i could have had ... they kept pulling fuel in the top end, but no matter how much they pulled out, it still went rich and was popping up a code for running rich in both banks. so im using the ultimate as of now, till we figure this out both the blue and ultimate systems have quirks
oh BTW, doesnt hondata drop the vtec down to 3000 rpms also??

my #'s were closer to 350hp/288 peak on the stock pulley also.

whats the point of changing the fuel injectors if you cant really tune the fuel man????
btw... what is the stock TL injector size?
i am so looking forward to having my car flashed with Hondata.... too lazy to piggyback...

Just wanted to come out and thank Hondata for taking the time to work on our cars.
Even though it seems like it's taken forever to even get to this point, I'm comforted to know that Hondata is pouring a good amount energy into R&D. And even just with that, a lot of companies just don't do that anymore. anyway, THANKS!
