AEM fic? Never heard of that. Been thinking about the 3.7 stuff not sure. I've read the p2r runners give a good amount of hp. Read on other forums about 12-14 hp. The car runs phenomenal. Went 14.1@103with these mods so far so it's making some power.
if it's your DD, buy an extra set in the black market and get that sent out to be PnP'd. if it's not your DD, take your runners off and send them out to get PnP'd. search the forum for people that port runners or google it for someone local.
you're missing one of the biggest mods. hondata flashpro. make sure that's one of your upcoming mods it changes the entire nature of the car and it runs so much better when you have lots of mods. get it tuned by Dom who's on the forum as well. great guy and cheap compared to other options

You won't get 12-14 hp just from ported runners. You'll get that much from the 3.7 manifold, TB, ported runners, 4" intake combined.
It's not my DD I have a truck also so it looks like sending them out to get ported is going to be the only option Sisne they are not in stock ready to go. Only one I can think of is a guy that goes by TMOSS. He popular for porting lower intake on alit of the older 5.0 intakes with good results and reviews. Hondata is the last thing I plan. Up rev in Austin does a lot of Nissans, he dyno tuned my buddy's 370z from 292whp to 323 with his mods and yes he says the diff is huge. This guy charges 700 for a dyno tune. How much does Dom charge?? And how does he do it???

dom charges 100 i think, and he's done many many TL cars on here. you want someone familiar with the car. he tells you what kind of drives to do, you do them, then send him the log, then he sends you a new map, and repeat repeat repeat. the best thing about dom is he'll do maps for you for the life of your car. so if you add or remove a mod he'll do a new map for you. so technically you could could benefit from it now AND later but your call
700 is ridiculous, that's way overpriced
Trending Topics
1. buy hondata flashpro (there's some on the black market)
2. pay dom and ask him what drive he wants you to start with
3. perform drive while "logging" your drive on the flashpro
4. go to a computer and email your log from flashpro to dom
5. dom does his tuning and emails you back a "calibration file"
6. upload the calibration file into your flashpro through the computer
7. plug in your flashpro to the car and upload the calibration into your ecu
repeat until dom tells you you're done (he looks at knocking among other things). sometimes it takes many calibrations to get it dialed in but it's worth it.
now go buy one haha
If you do the runners make sure you get all new gaskets and send them along with the runners to be port matched. Otherwise you will have a small lip from the gasket blocking all of that new PnP work you just had done.
Also if you are Type-S 6MT then you can do plug and play Hondata. If you are a base TL you will need to do some extensive work before Hondata will work properly for your car.

I don't want to start a new thread, so I figure I'll highjack this thread. I'm in the process of researching for my 3G TL-S AT. J37 IM and TB is the direction I'm heading with a PnP. My question is, would I benefit more with the J37 runners? Please correct me if I'm wrong (still researching) but the part numbers are different, so I'm assuming there is a differences between the two.... That is if the J37 runners bolt on with out modifications. I'm still searching, but I haven't found any other info on this other than the other J series runners are the same
J37's are a 3rd gen motor and have a tumble port head design. The J35A8 is a 2nd gen motor which doesn't have the same design.
Find yourself some J35A8/J32A3 runners, get them pnp'd and have a good day.
