I have a 04 silver 6-speed and im getting the ATLP base exhaust, or ATLP V2 quads(which is coming out in like two months) but i dont know if i should get the base or the quads. I like the quads a lot more but that involves buying the rear a-spec lip and getting it painted cause the 07-08 TLs have a different kind of silver and then getting it installed (involves cutting the bumper). Its a lot of extra money just for the looks of quads.. So which would you guys say i should get?

In the end i just wanna hear that beautiful sound the ATLP exhaust makes..

 

You can't go wrong either way!

Personally I would go with the base because I don't feel like having to get a new rear A-Spec lip. Now if money wasn't an issue, it would be the quads for sure.

 

The quads do look sexy as hell...but so does the base! Go with the base. You'll save some money that you can put towards other mods!

 

I said it in another post. IMO quad tips are lame for the TL, unless you drive a M3, AMG, RS, Porsche. All show and no go for the TL. In other words, get the base.

 

but quads make our cars look so damn sexy! i think im gonna end up flipping a coin and letting that decide which i should get. Its just to hard to decide for me.. Thanks for the advice though.

 

get the base, it still looks good and so does your wallet

 

go with the quads.... it seems like u want them more and if u dnt get the quads you might eventually regret it

U might spend some extra money but its worth it Trust me!

You can't go wrong with either one. But do you really want to go through the hassle of cutting the bumper and painting the lip?

 

if i were you i would just stick with the base, the quads even though they look amazing but its alot more work in the end by buying a type s lip, cutting up the bumper a bit to fit it, and painting it. it really depends how bad you want the quads. my
