Performance upgrades without voiding Warrenty
Everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I am not well versed in performance upgrades, but would like to know what can be done with a 06 TL, 6MT, that will not void the manufacturer's warranty? Everything is currently stock and I would like to increase the output a bit more. Suggestions?
Thank you.

Well, first nothing will "void" the warrenty. However if the part you put on caused the failure, they will deny you coverage for that part. Be prepared to fight with dealers over it though.
If you're looking for more power things like intakes are usually pretty low risk and probably your best gain per $$$.

Better watch it with cold Air Intake Kit, they are not without their problems - Water ingestion.
My local dealer has a customer's car with a CAI kit that ingested water while reving at around 6,000 RPM according to what they pulled out of the ECM.
Can you imagine how much damaged that did.
They are waiting on the customer's approval for repairs as Acura will not honor their warranty because CAI lack the protection of the OE Air box against water ingestion.
As most will state the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act! that they can't invalidate you warranty, you better be prepare to pay some money to a lawyer to fight for your rights and to pay for a car lease while the subject is being argued.

If you think that Honda / Acura is tight with their warranty you should check with Chrysler / Dodge owners!
