Performance for 1g?

Hello everyone this is my first post so first off want to say hi. I want to get a little bit more Horsepower out of my 2005 TL Auto. I dragged my friend in his 350z and we both were neck to neck. I do want to pull away and beat him. What would you guys reccomend... Prefer to spend under 1000.00 if possible.

Thanks
Merc100

Yeah, go with the intake and UR pulley. Then you can always get the E-shift procat, and if you want more, there's always the supercharger, then the water injection, then maybe high boost pulley in the future with a custom aftercooler. and then.....the list go on.....lol

But for the best bang of the buck, AEM intake and UR pulley is the way to go, and they cost less then half of your budget!

procats are getting good dyno numbers...intake is a little cheaper and you will have some cash left over for exhaust and a pulley

Where in western canada are you? If you are in vancouver, there are a few shops that can order the parts and do instals for you. I personally know a few of them so if you need any help, just PM me...

I would like to see G's MPG numbers. The current G gives 25MPG on highway 19 city. Unless they have improved it, I might have to go with Camry or Lexus which gives 31MPG hwy. MPG seems to be lot important now because gas is $4+ a gallon everywhere in Canada.

and personally b/w a g35 or lexus is250/350.....i had that option but i chose the TL due to the size and 4 door option...i'm assuming thats why you chose it too...power, luxuary, and big cargo space....it was hands down an easy choice...still kinda regretting not getting the STi tho....oh well.

TL and G35 both good. Camry is fast, but doesn't handle the same.
