Part Installation and Warranty

Will installing aftermarket parts such as CAIs and exhausts or clearing headlights or doing the blue LED mods void any warranty from Acura?
Also whats the difference between cleared headlights and smoked headlights? I know cleared is like making it all clear basically by putting it in oven, how bout smoked? do you put it in a fire or somethign? (j/kz)

Warranty: it will not effect warranty unless it is a direct cause of the problem. That is what my dealer told me.

If you want to smoke your headlights, attach to cigars facing West and put them in a gas BBQ pit for 2 minutes. Do not attempt at home without kids supervision.
(desclimer: just a joke)

Here is a thought.... suppose you have transmission problems... and you have a cai, your dealer "could" try to claim, the added HP caused the failure.

the dealer will use any reason to not fix ur car. if u have tranny problems, take the CAI off urself and throw on the old intake box. exhaust systems are usually bolted on and not welded in, so you could also remove it urself. unbolt it and take it off the exhaust hangers.
