P2R Throttle Body Spacer gains in whp?
Im still thinking about purchasing the TB for my 08 Type S...
I have read and heard about TB helping in gas mileage a little bit.
Still having doubts of gains in torque or horsepower with the spacer.
I do have to agree that the gaskets offered by excelerate for the TB and the intake manifold does help in maintaining power by isolating hot temperatures out of the manifold.
Did anyone out there dynoed there cars with the TB an saw any real gains? I havent see any official posts of dyno graphs with only this mod.

Don't expect much. Maybe 1 or 2 WHP. NOT worth a dyno run .
Throttle response felt a little better/quicker though.
('07 TL-S)

Any change in mpg's?
I have a 97 Integra turbo...getting ready for NHRA. My mechaninc owes a dyno in central florida.
I will take the type s in 3 weeks to dyno each part i guess.
I have purchased all ready j pipe and race pipe with AEM cai...
Is it worth the money for the tb and gaskets?

Why do you think drag racers throw bags of ice on the intake manifold between runs!
heat robs power~

^^
How do they do that without the bag melting.
I've got the TB Spacer and IM Gasket. Got them in hopes of keeping things a tad cooler - very hot here in the summer.
*Maybe* I saw 1 MPG increase with the TB Spacer. Milage is normally pretty low due to city commute driving.

Slipped right in. Made me wonder what everybody was complaining about. :schrug:
No fitment trouble at the TB/Intake at ALL. There is a fitment issue between the filter and fog light, but that is unrelated.

I have the Injen, didn't have a problem at all with fitment. I have the spacer with two gaskets (one on each side) and fitment was perfect. I have an '07 TL-S

nim090, you should post in this thread:

Doesn't make any sense that one Injen fits and another doesn't.

Tests on a 06 TL M/T[shown below] produced a 5.5 horsepower and almost 9 ft/lbs of tq gain at the wheels!
Power Rev Racing thermal gaskets will help reduce intake air temperatures. Made out of our proprietary heat dissipating material the P2R thermal intake gasket creates a thermal barrier that isolates power-robbing heat from traveling to your intake manifold through the cylinder head or through your throttle body. Less heat soak means cooler air and more consistent power delivery.
You will need 2 gaskets to seal the spacer, one for each side. You could use stock gaskets to do it. But to get the additional intake temp reductions you would want to get the two thermal throttle body gaskets to seal each side.
