Had an ebay pipe with K&N filter on my prelude and it worked well. As for the TL I am not sure but if you do get it I'd recommend getting a K&N or AEM filter.

Oh god.. just the fact the description says "It Increases 7-15 HP!.."
it is a total quack bs...

Don't go for it.
You can easily buy those parts at home depot or any other warehouse..

I almost decided to buy this myself.. Throw an AEM sticker on it , and for sure a K&N filter and voila! You can build your own using intake plumbing for O'Reiley's etc. Seems like I priced building one yourself and it was like ~$100 All your paying for is the name, right?

There's also R&D and quality.
Name brands are overpriced, without a doubt and no argument.
How I see it is a movado vs. walmart ditigal watch with velco strap. I own a movado.

Go for it... not like you'll feel 7 hp anyways. It might not resonate like an AEM tho. Maybe on a hot day you'll get less heat soak... but intakes are intakes. pipe + filter. Or do what I did in my sig. My work is in an industrial area that floods (my fogs get fully submerged if I was to stop in the flooded area)... so in some cases icebox type intakes are preferred as well.

^^^^ You've wrecked your car 5 times and you're a label whore. That's a waste of money.

Souljah - I agree with you, although they all virtually do the same thing. I will buy the movado

Does it work? Sure it does.
Will it last a while? Probably.
Good for the average person who doesn't know or care about getting "better" stuff or a warranty or carb approval? Yes.
Going to get any love or respect from others in the TL community? No.

For me, it all comes down to matching the quality of the parts to the quality of a car. I wouldn't put a $250 intake on a $2500 Civic, for sure. By the same token, I wouldn't put a 91 Civic part on a $20,000 TL either.
