One Piece RacingBrake Rotor :: POLL

Alight, wanted to get a poll going on who is interested in the RacingBrake 1-piece rotors Mr. HeelToe is trying to bring to market for Brembo TL owners (6spd and TL-S).

Easy question with three answers.

These rotors would be curved vane with open slot design. Slotted with holes in the slots. $235 shipped.

You can read a little about them on this post

Why RacingBrake?

I'm really looking forward to these rotors. I run ET300 pads on my OEM Brembo rotors. The 2-piece RacingBrake rotors are both expensive and overkill for my needs of moderate-hard street/highway driving.

A 1-piece RacingBrake rotor of this design is EXACTLY what I need. And for the price, it can't be beat!

Who else agrees?

I definitely agree with you because my TL will never see any track duty heavy enough to justify paying 2 piece rotor prices

I have a base TL, but I'd like to chime in. RB makes a fantastic product. I purchased their slotted rotors and ET300 pads for my car and it performs actually better then I expected. There is a lot of bite and I see no need to upgrade the caliper as I was planning to later down the road. From what I have heard, these rotors should last two-three pad changes and the pads themselves 30k plus.

So far so good with RB products.

thats a pretty big drop off what they are being sold for now for the AT (~$530)...and i think this thread is for the MT 1-piece rotor which I am sure will be a bit more.

but i do believe RB makes a great product and it would be great if the MT guys could get the 1-piece setup as an option. i have the 1-piece with the ET500 pads and have nothing but good things to say about them

You know, oddly enough, you can definitely find justification in 2 piece rotors on the street...if you drive like enough of a jerk (er, like me).

I'm with you on these rotors. Got my vote

$235 shipped sounds like a fair price to me.

We need about 8-12 weeks to make the tooling and make parts for these.
