NSX pistons

i was looking at carillo pistons and for the nsx the piston diameter is 90mm i think i read somewhere that the j series except for 3.7 is 89mm maybe a possible swap? im sure theres other technical parts to it and im definitely sure someone is going to have the information but i am wondering if we could just hone or bore out a little bit more cylinder wall

honda c series isnt related to a j series not even by a long shot. safe to say any nsx piston will not work.

i know they arent related ive done research. but ive looked up pictures of both j series pistons and c series pistons and if the pistons are same bore and where it connects to the rods with the pins looks really similar i dont know why with a little modification it wouldnt be possible. its not like theyre electronic parts and incompatible because of different operating systems. if it fits i dont know why it wouldnt work

pictures mean squat when working with engine tolerances. wrist pin location, ring landing, and piston length all need to be correct. why not work with a j piston instead of all the headache of working with a foreign piston.

No j series pistons are forged. Idk hype about rl pistons but it's just a rumor that it's forged and higher compression. Rl heads or gasket are suppose to be difference in compression. But I know nothing technical about pistons this is all learning experience to me. I've seen only two posts about forged j series custom pistons and rods. Does anyone know the price on them?

you're probably looking at the $1500 range for custom rods and pistons. maybe more depending on who's making them.

You can bore out a J block to 90mm. However, thats the service limit, so no boost.

I think you need to do a bit more research on the subject, since its as simple as wrist pin location and bore diameter.

I can tell your being sarcastic. Better to ask and know than to never know and when asked upon not know. I was wondering if it was that simple. Thank you though
