Question Noise Reduction

Greetings fellow 'Ziners. I am a newbie to the parts & mods world so this may seem a redundant question. A few months ago I bought a 2004 TL A-Spec and it has an aftermarket muffler (Dynomax). I liked it at first but I'd prefer a little less noise. What's the standard remedy for this? A resonator? If so, where do you purchase one? If not, what is the alternative?

Thanks in advance.

Happy New Year!

You can either get an aftermarket resonator like the "Aero 25", or just buy the OEM exhaust.

Southpaw, where are you located? I might have an OEM exhaust from an '08 coming off real soon.

Sound deadener. ~100sq ft of butyl mat based and ~100sq ft of closed cell based deadener will dramatically change the road noise / exhaust noise that you hear through the cabin.
