I have $300 to blow. I'm thinking about either doing AEM v2 intake, lowering springs, save for coilovers, or save for an exhaust. What's the best use of my monehs? I'm leaning towards the CAI.

Aesthetics: Springs unless you plan to go lower
Performance: J-Pipe

The redundancy in threads created over the last month by new members is ridiculous.
Hopefully the mods can implement something soon to manage thread creation (Min post req/Min days reg)
Make it so the thread requires mod approval for content/quality before it goes up.

Performance: Save for exhaust parts (jpipe is close to your price range, you should take richie up on his sale offer. It's great.)
Aesthetics/Handling: Save for coilovers. Honestly it's the mod that had the biggest impact to me. Probably double your price range though?
Edit: Forgot to say, don't waste that money on a CAI. My first mod was an expensive CAI and while it's a fun noisemaker, it's not really worth the money compared to what other mods will actually do for your performance/handling/aesthetics.

What would a JPIPE sound like with a stock exhaust? Searched youtube but everybody had stage exhaust mods done with JPIPE and it sounds raspy as sh**. Also, would I get any gains with a stock exhaust?

J pipe with stock exhaust has a very small change in note, id be exaggerating if i said it sounds more aggressive but it has a slightly deeper tone but nothing more

GoFast, completely skip the CAI-worthless, unless you want something that gives you a little growl and could potentially lock up your engine for $350.
When you're done with this mod, whatever it might be, save up for an Aspec Kit!
