hey guys, I bought a 2007 Acura TL base model in late August and I haven't had the time to browse and learn much about this car because of school. I was wondering with all your help if you could help me locate some of the things I want. I currently have 19's on the car but thats all I have so far lol. The car is amazing so far... but I want to do more to it I'm posting up pictures whenever there is DECENT weather around here so I could actually take some shots of the car. I live in the GTA region but I wanted to know where I could buy the following:

1.A-Spec Kit

2.Quad Exhaust (already got rear ended so I asked the insurance to put the type-S rear bumper instead of the base model. at least i got something good out of the accident )

3. AEM v2 CAI or the Fujita CAI. I do not know which one to pick, they both sound so amazing!

4. Anything on the Suspension of the car (I do not know anything about it)

I do have a bit to spend on this car and I want the best for it, I don't want to try it myself and mess it up.. ahaha. Thank you so much if any of you could help me

..expensive. Ask Nextmod and see how much they can get it for. They usually charge reasonable prices

 

Heeltoe is a good vendor and sells everything you need except A-Spec kit.
I would go with coilovers for suspension. I went with Tein SS.

Just do some research because everyone will tell you to get what they have.

exhaust personally i would keep an eye out on the black market. Thats one thing that you can buy used and it really has to take a major beating for it not to work exactly the way it did brand new. I think you can save some money right there. I picked up XLR8 resonated catback for $400. Only difference is it wasnt as shiny as the brand new ones lol.

Intake another thing you could get away purchasing used...i payed around 300 for mine shipped from XLR8 which i extremely regret due to how many i see on the black market in perfect condition for 1/2 the price.

Suspension i recommend you get that BRAND NEW. I have tein ss on my type s with ingalls camber kit (from heeltoe). You can find all kinds of suspension everywhere from just a spring and shock setup to the full coilover setup. Heeltoe has alot of good stuff.

4. It depends on what you're looking for: set ride height, adjustable ride height, adjustable damping. How many miles on the existing suspension?

 

1. Yeah this website has been great to me so far and the people who all own Acura TL seem very nice ahah. I am looking forward to learning about my car with the help of all of you.

2. I'm still researching about which Quad Exhaust to get for the car while I have time, Mid-terms are killing a lot of my time to do anything though.

3. They both sound so amazing. I think I'm going to get the AEM V2 but something inside me is telling me to get the TAKEDA intake. Ill make up my mind soon because I want to buy all of the parts over the winter and bring out the new baby in the spring time .

4. I still have no clue on the suspension of the car.. I bought the car at 90,500KM's in late august, but i put around abit over 15,000KM's in it since..

I will have a lot of time through the winter break to research this web and get inputs of many of the amazing people who have TL's. I thought Tl's looked fine stock until I found this website... I really want to keep up with all of you!

 

I hope it's not that bad lol. There aren't many people who tend to do mods around where I live to their TL's.. just the basic window tint and funky rims lol.
