New Owner Mod Questions....

Hey guys, I did go through most of the performance mods threads, but still find that some questions were not clear.

First Being, Is there even a point of getting a short ram intake, or just put in a K&N filter and expect the same thing(Besides the sound)

Second the taillight depo dilema, Some say it's not worth putting in the depo taillights because they look cheap.
So which aftermarket taillights should you get, the depo, or some other company, do the 07-08 Base look better then the Type S taillights. And what do you need to change it, online on the add(Ebay Depo Lights) it says it needs no modification.

Thanks, Any feedback would be awsome!

neither will help much, the short ram will suck in hot air in the engine bay, the K and N filter will just get the intake manifold dirty and potentially harm your motor over time. Either stick with a true Cold Air Intake or hack apart the factory one to get rid of the resonator.

I bought my TL-S taillights off of ebay and I love them. Been through rain and multiple carwashes and they haven't fogged up yet (and I hope they never do). Great buy and easy install, go for it!

Any particular brand of tail lights from ebay?

And also for the short ram intake, the weapon R i Guess is made, and a heat shield is available, I am wondering if that is an option.

just get a CAI

you will NOT suck in water UNLESS ITS SUBMERGED IN WATER!

same goes for the STOCK INTAKE. it is a mock "cold air intake" with a filter box.
