Supecharger

Hi guys I need help in achieving my next major upgrade. I can put my hands on a SC but it was made for the Generation 2. Are they major difference, for the housing and others. I could wait couple months and get the one made for our cars, but making this thing happen would not only save some money but also a lot more fun and enjoyable. So any help is very appreciate.

I think you just need another elbow, but the body of the blower should be the same. I agree talk to Excelerate or Josh from Comptech. If you could buy a blower on the cheap you could save some real $$$, and you are going to need it. Gauges, exhaust, Hi flowing cats.. $700 in meth injection. Don't waste your money unless you some cash to spend. On the other hand there is nothing like a supercharged TL, the whine alone has caused many a driver to miss shift.

I know what you mean by saving the money, but I would like to have a faster car. When I drive my Acura after being in my 96 Nissan Maxima super- tuned, I really know that I have to do some to it. I been having the Fujita CAI, and getting this week the Exhaust but I just want no power.

I believe the G2 blower has different mounting points and other stuff. Get the 3G kit with all the right stuff the first time. Also before you bolt on the S/C, it'd be good to invest in other stuff like the J-pipe, precat deletes, exhaust, intake, etc. so you get a better gain from the s/c

I already got the intake and with week I'm doing the exhaust from the J-pipe and taking out the 3rd.

dont even waste your time cause its not going to work. the snout is totally different in width and length. the pulley is also totally different. 2nd gens use 2 belts, rather than one long serpentine belt to run all the accessories. just by the 3rd gen and you'll save yourself ALOT of headaches.

the only thing i see fitting from this kit is the blower body and the elbow that holds the TB. everything else is different.
