New to Acurazine...
Hi all,
Just wanted to start somewhere here...I just bought my 2007 TL Type S a little over a week ago and I love it...I'm already looking at a few bolt-ons, and I've done a little research, but was also wondering what the community's opinions on first bolt-ons would be.
So far I'd say some type of intake...I was reading about having to remove the bumper for a cold air, which seems a bit much for just an intake haha...I'm definitely set on the XLR8 exhaust and still open to ideas for a j-pipe...I'd also like a fix for the drive-by-wire, not a fan of the lag haha....
So that's about it for right now, thanks for reading / opinions

CAI=AEM, Fujita, Injen, K&N (You don't HAVE to remove the bumper, but it's VERY helpful. Also, you only really need to remove the driver's side half of it, and squeeze in there. It's a lot easier than you think).
J-pipe=RV6's newest one
Fix for throttle response=Sprint Booster - http://www.sprintbooster.us/

Full of water...
Congrats, you got yourself a great car!
As for the j-pipe, i think right now the RV6 is the way to go, link below:

If I were to do it all again, i would probably gut the stock intake, and then apply the aftermarket intake $ on something else...like precat deletes. Good luck!

RV6 V3 J-pipe, Catback, and RV6PCD (Pre-Cat Deletes) is the way too go.
I bet when Richie (RV6) comes out with his exhaust, he could do some sort of combo deal with the J-pipe, Catback, and PCD. That would easily yield you about 40 WHP.

I am very happy with what I have done on mine:
'07 TL-S 5 A/T (yes!) CBP/TAUPE
FUJITA F5 (excelerate)
PROGRESS RSB (ditto)
P2R throttle body spacer w/gaskets (ditto)
Braille battery (tirerack)-but Jeg's has them too
IMO, since the Type S has a less restrictive exhaust from the factory, I don't feel that modifying the exhaust is the direction I want to go.
I also use my TL-S for business, and don't want the extra noise, especially for so little hp gain.
I chose the Fujita F5 primarily because it is no louder (or very little) than stock, until I step on the "loud pedal"
'07 TL-S 5 A/T (yes!) CBP/TAUPE
FUJITA F5 (excelerate)
PROGRESS RSB (ditto)

I congrats you on that. Too many new members making threads without searching/researching themselves.

I read in Richie's thread about his new and improved j-pipe and looking at how flush it was with the underbody, pretty much sold me on it. I plan on lowering the car on the 1.7 drop, so it was appealing once I saw the pics. Question for you, when you installed the PCDs, did that effect any O2 sensors or anything?
I'm also sold on the XLR8 resonated...I was reading that a member had got a hold of the new design mufflers and was in love with the "stock" sound for cruising, and the roar under WOT...Thoughts?
