Can't go wrong with the EndlessRPM catback. If you want to really feel some gains I would get the AEM V2 cold air intake alongside some pre cat deletes or high flow precats, and the ATLP V2 J Pipe. Between those three things you'll get a nice bump in power

Does CAI really make a difference? Only reason I ask is because a good CAI will run around $250...so does the price justify the slight increase in performance (if any)? I did notice gains with my ATLP V2 Jpipe, I did not have it dyno'd so unfortunately I don't have any metrics to show.

I absolutely do not think cold air intakes add much hp, as our TL's have a cold air induction system FROM THE FACTORY!

the TL will be hard pressed for gains as Honda did not leave any HP on the table in terms of air flow.

we already have like a 68mm throttle body with a paper filter that can OUT flow the TB at WOT.

its very hard to justify $250 plus tax and shipping for minimal if any at all gains.

^ totally agree lol.

OP if you search this forum enough you'll find exactly what mods will help with performance. You'll see popular brands such as XLR8, RV6, and ATLP. I'd recommend doing the research on these before dropping $$$.

If you have a certain setup in mind but are unsure of whether to drop the money, post it and see how people respond. Justn, who responded above, has helped me get the right performance/sound out of my car without unnecessarily dropping ridiculous amounts of cash. There's plenty of people out here with TONS of experience who can help, use them to your advantage.

the reason is because I took the same route. no matter what I think I am, I am not made out of money!

I chose to upgrade my car with the biggest bangs out of the dollars I had.
this is as simple as foregoing the CAI and doing the free "air intake resonator delete" , etc.

and even then, looking back, Ive spent more than $6k on mods...
which in hindsight, I could have used the money for better things, but you cant tell a young man with a cool car this.
at least, I have a 'n looking car! lol

If you decide to upgrade to the 3.7 manifold and throttle body and port your lower intake runners, then a CAI (3.5-4") becomes beneficial, but with the entire intake tract stock, it's probably not worth it.

check out my TL! Great sound and between both CAI & Exhaust with deletes it cost about 400$. Brand of CAI is DC sports, gives it a great rumble; magnaflow give it a nice smooth tone with little to no drone!
