So here's what it looks like post-blower. Pulled it out last weekend with the help of Dope, which was a bitchhh cuz of all the weird spots that all the bolts were. I'm not really sure what route i'm going to take with my car right now but for now its going to be a stock 3.5

Oh and is that the shortest short ram ever or what lol.

what was the reason for pulling the SC? going turbo?

 

I've heard that Short Ram intake isnt as good as the regular (long intake). The short intake is too close to the engine so it'll suck the hot air from engine instead of cold air.

i hate doing this but this is why he has a short ram, and its temporarily...

Since he ran a supercharger, he had his CAI cut so he could connect it to the blower,,,,now the blower's no longer there, and the cut CAI wont reach the TB on the IM, and he didnt feel like extending it, so he just slapped a filter on the TB so he has some protection...

After he got the SC off, he doesnt really care how the car performs anymore, so all else is neglected and is temporarily set up just so it drives. Im sure he doesnt even push the car now without the blower.

Haha, you nailed it on the head! Sounds like you've been there before My car drives totally different obviously...i'm still getting used to the lack of whine...makes the drive a lot more boring for sure!

i need more than a dust up, it's filthy! i got power steering fluid everywhere this weekend too when the hose broke. I need to just take a steam hose and hose it down completely.

 

buy 3 gunk de-greasers (the foam) and a high press water hose...youll see some shine :0)

 

Possibly an M90 on the way?

 

actually im not sure yet...i want to see what happens with the turbo kit also. right now anything is a possibility
