I put this mod on outside in the parking garage during my lunch hour.

Super easy to do and you get decent results. I would recommend it for all. Especially in unison with a weighted shift knob and the ct short shifter.

In that regard....just buy the entire package deal from Marcus.

^Search man. You want the friction modified.

If I recall correctly there is an AC Delco that's the same thing relabeled.

And you want GM Syncromesh or OEM. Nothing else.

Concur...

My Father in Law was working at Cadillac (GM, obvi) and when I asked him to grab a few GMSMFM with the part number, he showed up with actual AC Delco bottles with the new part number on them.

I'm using the stock shift knob, am I missing out on anything by not using a weighted knob?

No I used a weight shift knob and it all feels the same. Its all in your head

I just confirmed they will fit a 4G. The part numbers are the same for the 2008 TL-S and the 2010 TL.

This will definitely be my next mod!
