Next week I may delete the 3rd cat..
But will that make it louder?
Will I get some hp gain?

Delete the 3rd cat and it will be a little louder. Not much to any hp gains unless u get a jpipe. Maybe 1 hp. Post a video after u delete 3rd cat I'm interested on how it sounds

 

yeah if you replace the resonator with a dynomax resonator it will be a little louder

 

I'm not touching that resonator... Lol

I'm gonna talk to the guy to see what he can do for a custom j pipe

I wouldnt have some exhaust shop custom make a Jpipe for a few reasons. One, its probably just going to be some cheap steal pipes, the bends wont be good and would be the kind where the pipe gets pinched (forget what thats called). Not only that, but for about $400 you can get one that is super high quality and made specifically for your car (RV6 V3, XLR8, etc) and both of those delete the 3rd cat as well. I would imagine a shop would charge that much anyway to take the time to custom fab a jpipe. Just something to think about.

 

I'm MM del and rv6 J, sounds pretty stock IMO

The guy does really good work (I've seen it)
The welds looked great!
But it doesn't hurt to ask and see what he can do for me
If the price is right and he uses decent material ill be glad to have him make me one
It's worth a try and if he can order better piping ill be down..
