Mid muffler delete- straight pipe

Hey guys, I'm looking to put stage 2 exhaust on my 05 TL. I'm a noob to this, but my question is; what kind of straight pipe do I need to buy to delete the mid muffler? Would this be fine? Its a 2.5" and two feet long. Is that long enough? And also do I need any bend in the pipe?

When you go to the shop to get the mid muffler cut out, tell them to straight pipe it. They will have the size needed.

So I don't have to buy my own straight pipe, they'll have one at the shop?

Iif you go to a muffler shop they will have piping. And just mid muffler delete is stage 1, stage 2 is mid muffler and magnaflow resonator. But don't tell the shop you want a stage 1or2 exhaust, they'll be confused.

Yea just go to a shop and tell them you want them to remove the mid muffler, you dont have to buy any parts at all they do all the work.... MAKE SURE YOU POINT OUT THE MID MUFFLER WHEN THEY LIFT THE CAR UP. You'd be surprised how many people get the resonator taken off instead of the mid muffler and that is a huge difference (dont ask how they get them confused cuz they look totally different but it happens).

I have both my mid muffer and resonator removed. It was like 65 dollars here in okc. Sounds way better but around 2600 to 3000 has a bit of a drone sound. .. its all still quiet when you're driving nice or cruising, but it has a good growl when you full throttle. Had audi drivers and 370z owners asked me what exhuast I had... 05 mt tl

I had my mid-muffler and resonator removed. I had just the resonator removed at first and literally there was no difference. Heres a video of both removed under WOT.
