Making a hard decision / Cte Supercharger or Built Head

My christmas gift is long due from my wife. She said i can have the supercharger if it is under $4000. The problem is I have a ua7 5at and i cant find anything about the install or if it is 100% bolt on. this leaves me unsure if i want it but i do dream of having one.

Being a responible family man i thought about saving some money and going with a built head with bisi stage 1 cams. stage 1 port and polish will cost 950, springs and retainer 500 and 1000 for a camrgrind. remember i have a 5at with complete exhaust no cats tuned with Hondata. i dyno 240 hp and 220 tq. i would like to get anywhere from 300-340hp and 280tq.

im dead serious about this upgrade on my car and i need professional/experience advice. But time is money and the sales are ending soon. Should i go with the CTE or Bisi?

Why don't you call them and ask if it'll fit?

I'd say stay NA, more manageable. Power adders create more pain in the azz.

The TL kit bolts on to the TL-S with little modifications that were posted here. I would use the new hondata ECU tuning to tune for the S/C vs the comptech ACM and the "ghetto" FPR crushing method to raise fuel pressure. In all honesty the S/C is undersized and not worth it for the extra 70WHP. Turbo is much easier and you can get a lot more power and return on the investment. Just my

Where's the option for selling the TL and buying a used 135/335i? You want to beat up on Camaro SS's, 5.0's and SRT's with only a few thousand in mods it's the way to go.

Don't think I did. Tls heads Mdx shallow camshafts. Have most of the oem gaskets to do the job. And a set of port matched runners. Check my build thread.
