Magnaflow or Dynamax?

I have a 2004 TL 6MT and am going to do a mid-muffler delete and then thinking about either a dynamax or magnaflow resonator.

I've seen posts about the difference of the two and haven't really found good videos two compare the two yet.

Any help and suggestion? Thanks!!!!

Hey Kung,

I just discovered the staged exhausts mods myself and have been doing a lot of research in youtube videos. So far I'm sold on the dynomax but I havent listened to too many stage 2 videos yet. I'll pull the trigger soon - TAX RETURNS!

I went with a vibrant, only because it's stainless

I just did the Stage 3 exhaust today with the 18 inch Dynomax 24235 resonator and it sounds great! So i say go with the Dynomax 24235 resonator!

Any drone? My car is still real quiet (J-pipe and mid-muffler delete) and I'd like some more sound within reason, but I take 2-3 long road trips a year, drone is a deal killer for me.

I talked it over with the owner of Kinney's Mufflers in Fort Worth (premiere muffler shop in the DFW area) and he suggested I first just delete the stock resonator. It's only $30 to do that vs $75 or so for a resonator (with labor) and he felt using a resonator might still make the exhaust too quiet.

Accords and base TL's have about the same exhaust sound level so this should be a good comparison:

XLR8 V2 J-pipe, mid-muffler and resonator delete. Absolutely no drone and at a steady speed its pretty much silent inside my car, just a touch of tone at throttle tip-in but a much more aggressive sound when I get on it.
