ok, so i talked with sean from p2r while i was there. he said its basically just setup only running 1lb of boost. he said they'll be tunning it this week, using the method i suggested so long ago. basically its still primative and its just to see how it'll work. IMO i'm forseeing problems with that setup. its going to be extremely limited as well. after i get my clutch swaped i'm going to be starting my turbo setup sa well.

Let me guess. This "might" be available within the year, and then take another year or 2 for the TL-S guys.

It's awesome, don't get me wrong, but it's probably just another mod that won't be suited for the Type S guys.

LOL, i have a type S and i'm gona make it F'in work! The two ecu's aren't that different. it's just a matter of getting the timing corrected and making sure you are tuning safetly.

Unless you're planning on making the car a drag queen there's no point for the RWD. Just on my intake and exhaust setup i whip up on some higher end cars on the highway no problem.

I'll be under way with the turbo set up soon. Just wish i could get some help with the funds

 

Ok guys,

I love our 3G TL's shape, it's edgy yet not to the extreme like 4G TL...

The other car's shape that I found it close to our 3G, would be Shark Design of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

Now, what I like about the Evo is that it's AWD, got Bilstein, Brembo (Front and Rear), 2.0 Turbocharged producing 291HP and 300 LB torque.

If you put a 3.5 Turbocharge on the TL, I'm sure it'll be more powerful than current 4G TL's 3.7L engine

6 Speed...

It got Recaro and Smart Entry and so on... Of course it's a smaller car...

But, if you married those qualities into 3G TL and make it a real 4G TL (better design than what is is current design), man... trust me, I'll be the first one jumping over... and same would be for lots of 3G TLers...

I'll keep my 3G TL-S for a long while, and wait for 5G TL.... however, I'll probably get the Lancer Evo...

I know, I read that,that's why I broke out the popcorn.I said I'm not getting my hope's up. You can bolt/weld whatever you want, tuning and getting the car to run right is the key. Believe me, I'd pop wood if we were able to turbo and get good gains safely running around 8-10 lbs.....

Edit: I wouldn't even care about the $$$.......

 

regardless the stock internals for this car, and most hondas, are not equiped to take the stress of the extra psi. you're gona drop massive money no matter what.

300Whp isn't easy with the Type-S. In fact, I think it's a bit easier for you base guys considering that you have a supercharger available to help you guys achieve it.

Umm no. Fabbing a turbo with a pound of boost was never the "impossible". Getting it tuned to run correctly with a meaningful amount of boost was.

 

As I recall you can hack the six speed into a RWD drivetrain. It was done on the Element drift vehicle. They used a CL six speed and adapted it to something I forgot its been a long time.

 

only way i could even see that being possible is if you rear mount the engine.

 

ridgeline drivetrain CL-s6 tranny. front mounted turned engine 90 degrees

anyway, the radiator looks like an obstacle. Love seeing that big blower under the hood and truly hope the damn ECU doesn't win this time.
