K&N CAI vs AEM CAI
Hey guys, I tried the search, couldn't find much comparing the two. Just wondering if there are any pros and cons between the two. I did notice that the K&N comes with a drycharger wrap for the filter, to protect it from water. Any help would be appreciated.![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I currently have the AEM V1. I'm going to keep it and will be wrapping it with thermal header wrap soon. I have to call the speed shop and set up an appointment.

Thats sounds crazy when you first read it but it only makes sense not only to get more air into the engine, but to get more out. I don't hear much about exhaust on here. Ofcourse I don't get on this site as much as I would like too. I've been busy.

I have the K&N and the AEM; one on each car. I recommend the K&N. My experience indicates K&N has better tech support, their performance gains claimed are realistic and seems to be more robust. Good luck.

That is good... My experience with comparing the two products side-by-side resulted in less than favorable results for the AEM CAI. You may want to consider having a conversation with both manufactures. I am sure we all have different criteria for making a judgement.
