J32a1 j32a2 = j32a3
Is the same block used throughout 99-08 acura TL the same? If so i know a place in MI selling 2 complete engines 99TL engine and 2003 Tl engine for 100 for both? And i need a block for my build? Question are the blocks the same?

Well if you follow the standard which is, first letter is series, followed by 2 numbers is the size and the last 2 characters are the head.. The blocks would be relatively the same

block the same. heads are different. j32a---whatevers have the same block.
heads changed in the j32a2 as well as the compression (pistons). j32a3 had similar changes.
but a j32a1+j32a2 =/= j32a3.
you will need the j32a3 heads etc. on the j32a1 to make the A1 into an A3.

the 3G TL block has headers cast into the block, I believethe others have real headers.
