J-Pipe Sounds

I just recently got a stock 05 TL and am looking for a little more power and a louder exhaust. Not to loud though, somewhat moderate. Everyone says to go for an intake, J-Pipe, and Test Pipe and I wondering if anyone has a video with it installed without a whole exhaust set up. Let me know what you find.

everyone here uses the RV6 exhaust setup, high flow precats/ precat deletes with the v3jpipe. search and you will find more than a dozen of videos of rv6 products with sound clips and a bonus dyno sometimes

^thank you for having a great answer, Kingkong_dav!!!!!!

in addition to what he said;
the current jpipes (XLR8 and RV6) delete the 3rd cat. so you wont need a test pipe.

My first mod was the jpipe.
it provided a deeper tone, but NOT LOUDER.

You should get one. Srsly.

I got mine back in the old day's when they were first invented; they were primitive (but still cool). If I had to do it over again today, I'd get Ritchie V6's version 3. That thing has it ALL!!

Thanks a lot guys, I totally would go for a whole exhaust set up, but putting out that kind of money right now is a little difficult haha, definitely plan on doing it eventually.

I was just going to say. I'm seriously looking at going full ATLP: base exhaust + j-pipe + metal cat. I really wanted to go RV6, but he's not making exhausts for base models and I'm not into the extra cost/hassle of a TL-S rear lip.

*Side note* Major noob question, but what are the benefits to upgrading to a UR pulley? A lot of people suggest it however I have not found a good answer. Sorry for the dumb question lol
