J-pipe Poll!
REGARDLESS, lol, are they supa-heavy, or are they fine? My budget for wheels would be under 800, so it's not like I can get some rims that weigh like 15 lbs each. Would they look nice powdered black? Considering plastidipping them just to test it out.
I didn't used to think it could either until I saw the comparison video Heeltoe did between the RV6 V3 and ATLP V2/Race pipe. The car had stock precats and ATLP catback and the RV6 J pipe did have some noticeable rasp.

It was reference to another thread.

So what's the difference in the rv6 v2 and v3?
Also I'm thinking about rv6 jpipe, xlr8 test pipe, and xlr8 CB system.....anyone have this setup?
I would love to hear it if so...pm me a link
I currently have the v2 rv6 and need to move forward towards an exotic sound with maximum power gains

while we're on the topic of j pipe+pcds+catback..
i was wondering which one i should do first since money's kind of tight at the moment..
would i have better sound/gains if i do the catback first and then j pipe and then pcds? which particular order should i do this?
i plan on running the rv6 v3 jpipe/pcd combo with tsudo or comptech exhaust..would that be a good set up? i don't want it TOO loud..as it will wake the neighbors
currently my car is bone stock performance wise..not even a CAI yet..
thanks
p.s. sorry for thread jacking lol

I would start with getting the PCD, then J-Pipe, then Catback. Reason I say this is because there are only a couple of PCD's and J-Pipes in the market. You will notice a sound difference with the first 2, and if you decide to get the Catback, go for it. What I did is I started with a V2 from AEM, then HFPC, working on the J-Pipe, then exhaust.
On topic is there a High Flow 3rd cat for our TL? Or do I have to reuse that cat or delete it? This is whats keeping me from getting the long version of the J-Pipe

Sorry for thread revival, but I was curious on the chronological release order of the j-pipes. Could anybody break it down? I think it's something like this:
RV6 v1
ATLP v1
XLR8 v1
RV6 v2
ATLP v2
XLR8 v2
RV6 v3
Also, per this thread by Marcus it's ATLP who's coming with a v3 soon, right?
Thanks
