^^Already way more convoluted than it needs to be. No need to make it worse.
OP, stick to the latest respective versions. And if you live in the northern part of the country, avoid the ATLP since it's made with 409 SS and may not hold up as well as the 304 SS.
RV6 V3 vs Excelerate V2...both delete the third cat.

at the moment im rocking the stock one but that's only because i want to buy both j pipe and pcds at he same time. I am leaning toward rv6 thought when i buy because they already offer the pcds!

Like everyone said XLR8 V2 or RV6 V3 is the way to go. Personally I would wait in till the new ATLP j-pipe comes out before making my decision.
You could try contacting Marcus also.
RV6's long jpipe produces alot of torque from 1K-4K rpm and the hp increase from 1K to 4.5K where you'll see the most gain. This is where a lot of people feel the power. (Don't mistake, they still make power throughout rpm, just giving the mmost power)
Take this as an example of a header design. This is simular to a 4-2-1 performance.
As already, the J32 in 6spd already has a lot of torque in first and to get the car going.
With a design of ATLP's shorter jpipe design, it produces more power in the higher rpm- where you see most of the race have the advantage.
So basically, we need a jpipe that will have most effective in the middle of RV6's and ATLP's design to get power from 4K - 7K. Our engine lacks this part of power because we are not DOHC. The engine would need more power to fuel up during vtec engages. Is it making any sense with me explaining it? Lol.. Idk, maybe because I'm frustrated. But in respect to all the jpip vendors, I hope with US as customers will help them achieve their goals by giving us the performace we need.
So, you were right anx, I just wanted some give some people to think a bit.
With Hytech and ATLP in design of this V2-R, we'll see if Rv3 will have a design that will compete with it. Please do Richie!!

I don't really need power coming in early, it's only good during a launch but once your starting to shift gears in the 3K range to 4k range and downshifting, that's the power I'd want to shine with the most power and not flat out up top. Maybe chime in and correct me crew.
^i dunno.
I always hated driving around "normally" at 2k RPM.
Once I got the Jpipe, 2K felt better.
PCD's, 2k feels AWESOME!
I also have Dyno charts backing up my claims.
my car with PCDs and JPIPE has more torque than a stock 6mt at 2k RPM.
so, my data conflicts with what you are saying.

Total n00b question possibly, what J-pipe CAN I get if I live in Cali? I don't think the 3rd cat delete is legal, in fact I know it isn't. I don't want to have to switch anything out when I go to get smogged.
The j won't add rasp. Especially not when paired with a nice cb system.
PCDs will add rasp. But not very much if any at all with a cb system.
And yes they will work together.

And I'm trying to get some springs, get a swaybar, and get some wheels. augsvljrwnfjnf. Do you know if the Acura 10-spokes are heavy enough to justify getting lighter wheels? If not I'll just powder these black haha.
Thats what I meant, sorry. The double spoked wheels. And yeah, TSX does have that kind of wheel option, but I'm talking about the 07-08. Some boss must've put them on my 04 before I got it. They look 100000000x better IMO.
^True.
I like to put butter and syrup on my waffles...
God you guys are fast. I think the base 07+ look better when not moving. But I think the 04-06 base wheels look better when rolling.
