Whoever has ATLP will say ATLP, whoever has XLR8 will say XLR8, whoever has rv6 will say rv6.

Reason?

People buy 1 and stick with it, there is no changing around.

Best price? Rv6

I have atlp and like it, but think I would have gotten rv6 if I had waited.

I would say stock, because I cann't justify spending so much money for so little gain in hp and torque. What difference would adding 7-12 hp really make in everyday driving?

I added all the bolt ons to my '02 TL-S but have decided it was not necessary for my '08 TL-S.

^ If you buy the full rv6 package, which is precat deletes, jpipe, and race pipe, it will add roughly 25-30whp. Plus you can't beat it, $575 for all three. xlr8 and atlp is 400 just for the jpipe, and atlp race pipe is 125, now i'm not saying that xlr8 and atlp arent worth it, they are without a doubt good products, but how much better can the be?

^ Agreed. Most people that are getting J-pipes are mating them with other exhaust mods so the end result is more than the 7-12 whp dj5 is talking about. Besides, for the $$/whp, the j-pipes and pre-cats are hard to beat.

Yeah, the RV6 pipe provides the best clearance.

RV6 J-Pipe and 3rd cat delete for $359.99. Should I get this instead of the XLR8 J-Pipe ? I thought the RV6 J-Pipe was slightly shorter on 1 tube? Somebody??? Told me the XLR8 J-Pipe was better then RV6. I have no idea??? Help. Thanks, J.D.

I think I will get the special, RV6 J-pipe and 3rd cat delete. How much hp will it add? I want to be able to pass emissions, so the pre-cat deletes isnt an option. Are there any high flow cats that add almost the hp as deleting the first 2 cats?

there used to be e-shift procats... but then they all started to melt and shrapnel starting getting clogged wherever it could...

richie could make you a set of hiflowing cats, but you'd pretty much have to insist on it and pretty much pay for the precat deletes, 2 300 cell magnaflow metal cats oh and of course the tig welding labor is going to be 150-300 lol

$250 + ($125x2)=$500 + labor

RV6 would be the best bang for the buck, i personally have atlp and i love it.tha atlp looks like it would have better flow, but the ground clearance is not as good as the RV6. if you live where there is alot of snow, then you'll hear it catching the snow/ice. Both brands have really good build quality. if you look at the welds you can see right away.

I would assume, somewhere around 10 extra horses, though an exhaust is needed to really take advantage of them.

Go for it, though. That's what I bought & I think it's a steal.
