Yes, lots of information regarding J-Pipes on our 3G TLs. However, I am trying to find a comparison between XLR8 and EndlessRPM J-Pipe. Maybe I haven't looked too far enough, but I only see comparisons between RV6, ATLP and XLR8; I just wanna know which one will be the best. I heard how XLR8 provides good all-round gains and I heard how the EndlessRPM J-Pipe provides good clearance especially for slammed cars (I am not slammed).
Sorry if this topic has been beat to death numerous times already.

I had an RV6 for my 3G and the XLR8 for my 4G. Very happy with both. The only difference I was able to observe is that the sound on the XLR8 was a bit of a lower tone with a growl at high RPM's that I liked a bit more than the RV6. However, it's hard to compare apples to apples there because the 4G has a different engine and exhaust. Very good fitment and build quality on both.
Although it's difficult to squeeze a lot more power out of these J-series V6's, the j-pipe is usually the first performance mod that's recommended since it's a pretty good bang for the buck. It's modest on the 4G since Acura improved the flow of the stock J-pipe. But it's significant on the 3G since the J-pipe that Acura used on the 3G was pretty restrictive. I remember taking off the stock j-pipe on my 3G and seeing all the sharp bends and restrictive joints. I have no idea why they didn't design it better. The j-pipes by the aftermarket vendors are consistent in their diameters regardless of the angle the pipe has to follow, as you can see from the pic above. It's a pretty good looking unit as well. Not that you'll be looking at it on any regular basis but it turns a light bronze as it heat cycles. No rust since it's stainless steel. I've had the XLR8 on for two years and it still looks great.
