J-Pipe

I'm planning on getting the j-pipe test pipe combo. I have an aem cai with stock exhaust. I was wondering if anyone has any video with this set up but with a j-pipe installed. I don't want it to be loud inside the car, but i want it to sound awesome outiside the car. Also has anyone had any problems with emissions after installing it.

you shouldnt have an emission problem, i havent heard anyone with that setup having one. i also have that same setup and it sounds great both inside and out. not loud at all on the inside during normal driving, but sounds great during WOT. but sorry, no video, but i guarantee you will be happy.

just goto you tube, and type in atlp exhaust. I recently added a Jpipe and a 3rd cat delete resonated, and i hardly heard any extra noise. I dont think that will do it for you. You need catback and or precat delete.

As long as your primary cats (precats) are still there, you won't have any issues with emissions.

With just the J pipe and test pipe, you won't hear shit in the cabin.

I have an AEM CAI, R- J-Pipe with test pipe and stock exhaust.

When I first put it on, there was a noticeable smell but now I don't smell it. I guess it's just the j-pipe breaking in and burning off....whatever.

Noise wise, it sounds the same to me honestly. If anything, there is a slight change in tone but I can't tell. It's same as stock, but power wise, nothing stock about it.

I have no video though, sorry.

as jmkiang said, it feels more torque-ier. don't worry, you won't regret this. And surprisingly, when i installed this with a friend of mines, i just sprayed all exhaust bolts with wd40 and use a breaker bar no bigger than 3 feet to take it off. I thought I had to use a 5 foot breaker bar and a fat guy. I have 81000 miles.
