Introduction and Supercharger Help!

My name is Brian and I own a manual 2006 pearl white TL. I rescued her 2 years ago from a wholesale auction trade in fate, by taking it off my co-worker before he traded it in for a Kia. Previous cars include a couple ITRs, GSRs, GS's, and ISs, in other words I am a JDM Fanboy. So far, I have accumulated knowledge and parts with the help of previous threads and the Black-Market section of this forum. Having curated an acceptable number of parts and addressed basic maintenance concerns, it is now time for me to accelerate the Super Saiyan transformation process.

I purchased a Comptech supercharger (used), and it was only missing the power steering pump barbed fitting and throttle body spacer. To save some fabrication time, I could use some fellow supercharger peoples help in this matter.

- Ideally someone has these parts laying around and wouldn’t mind selling them to me.

- Alternatively, if someone can let me borrow them (power steering barbed fitting, throttle body spacer) for a week, I can 3-D scan them ,return the parts to their rightful owner and print my own ( Obviously this sounds ridiculous, but I would provide a security deposit).

- If no one is comfortable lending me theirs temporarily, I would then ask that someone simply provide a quick measure of the width (thickness) of the throttle body spacer, I can get by with that.

The plan is to pull the loose engine components (valve cover, IM, etc.) and powder coat/ceramic coat them. The same applies to the supercharger housing, for peace of mind I'll be refreshing the bearings and coupler. In that regard, if anyone has any experience with the disassembly of the snout and MP62 rotors needle bearings, please reach out as I could use some guidance.

Thank you in advance for your time and for the support of those that have added quality content to this forum.

- Brian

Grats on the purchase!

Could you post a picture of your entire S/C kit?

Do you yet have a way to tune the S/C?

Have you yes read my thread to familiarize yourself with the Comptech S/C?

Thanks, I couldn't let the LSD equipped manual trans or Brembos end up at auction, I don't think my co-worker knew what he had.

When I get a chance I'll take some more pictures and post. The parts are scattered across my shop because I'm in the process of prepping the parts to powder coat and ceramic coat. When I picked up the setup, I compared the included parts to the CT installation manual, and those were the only two parts missing aside from the random metric bolt or two.

In the past Evan's Tuning has handled my Honda engine management requirements. I reached out to Jeff and he indicated the Hondata FlashPro would be his preference for tuning on this platform, so that is likely the route I will follow.

I have searched through several threads here reviewing the finer points of the TL platform. I'm sure I've crossed a thread of yours but I'll have to revisit to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Might you be able to help with those spacer dimensions?

Here is the spacer pic you requested.

So the spacer itself is 1/2” wide. The inner and outer dimensions as well as the space between the bolts coincides precisely with out intake manifold. Using it as a guide would work well.

Agreed, iconic design, fun power plant, playful chassis. It's only limitation is the FWD (I still love her though).
