I assume you have an 05 tl due to your username.

I went with the K&N Typhoon.
It's adaptable to be complete cold air or short ram.

i have an 05 tl as well and i went with the injen cai. it is the best choice, having driven tl's with the aem and the k&n and no other mods, like mine. injen all the way.

They are all basically the same. How much better can you make a tube that air goes into?

Just make your own. The factory set up is pretty good as it is. Cut the baffle off and stick a filter on the end.

kinda off topic but just a drop in k&n air filter make any difference in noise/perf on the TL? I did this to a prelude and s2000 didnt see much of a difference if any over stock.. just wanted to see if the TL was any diff.

yeah i was looking into just getting the k and n air filter no store had it and then i got stuck talking to this guy and he made a couple good points u cant really compare an airfilter to a whole intake swap. i decided im gonna go with this:

which sounds like this !!!!

lol an intake alone won't make your car sound like that. you should probably get your facts straight before you start dumping money into things.

how about taking off the resonator off the stock air box? is there a DIY for this? any increase or even decrease of hp? could this cause any sensors to go faulty on the car?

Do as someone mentioned already and build your own. As a person who spent over $200 for some aluminum tubing, rubber sleeves and a filter, I would never do it again.

Honestly I have an 04 TL and I bought an AEM V2 and I love it. It really does roar when you slam on the pedal and when you are driving normally you won't really hear it. Honestly though every single one is the same; since I have an AEM V2 I would recommend it but I'm sure everyone else will say the same about theirs. You will be happy with whatever you get, just if you get an AEM V2 know that it is perfect for the TL but when buying it you have to look under the accord. Enjoy !
