best bet is just modify the factory intake and add a K&N filter. Unless you want the VWOOMP sound

I may go with the above route suggested by SRT-11 cause i don't want to drop the dough for a new intake.

Is there a thread detailing modding the stock intake. While I'm typically a big fan of CAIs, I don't want to be pulling of wheels to install it on my TL-S!

You'll have to remove wheel or bumper to remove the intake resonator anyway. Just do the bumper removal; ten minute job.
