Thumbs up installing intake

well fellas, i ordered my aem cold air intake finally. how difficult is it to install one?

it is pretty easy if you have installed one before or if you are handy.

I'll be installing it on my car this weekend can't wait ... anyways, it seems pretty straight forward if you ask me ... i went over the instructions last week, and didn't understand a few steps due to a lack of good pictures so I searched the garage and found these https://acurazine.com/forums/motorsports-news-7/wrc-some-one-maybe-back-130633/ These pics help out a lot!

well i've put one in a 97 eclipse, was'nt too bad
but the tl has more covers

what brand did u get, i tried to get the v2 by aem, but they did'nt make it for the third gen tls

np ... i actually got the v2 through excelerate @___@ ... that's the dryflow filter one right?

no the v2 is the upgrade of the regular aem it has nothing to do with the dryflow filter.

The V2 for the 03+ Accord v6 will probably fit. I've been trying to convince someone to test it out.

I think i am going to run the fujita. I was going to order aem but I got a good price on the fujita. I heard the guy from injen makes it so I will let you all know what is up when it comes in. I think they all are awesome intakes aem,injen, and fujita.

If you do the install with bumper removal it may take up to 5 hours. It is not necessary, though.

Took me little over an hour on mine.
