Install for k&n typhoon short ram?

Does anyone know where I can find the how to photos or instructions to install a k&n short ram (not cold air) intake for a 2006 acura tl? I am looking to buy the short ram and I want to know if it is something I can do or my mechanic. Please let me know ASAP!

I didn't think K&N made a short ram kit for the 3G TL, just a CAI. Do you mean you will be buying the CAI and mounting it as a short ram? If so, the install instructions from K&N for the CAI will show you how to do this. If not, what is the part number for the short ram you are looking at?

I also have been thinking about picking up the K&N so that I can use it as a short ram. Have had CAI's on previous cars and do not want to worry about water issues. But, if I change my mind down the road, can convert it to a full intake. It is, though, a lot of money to spend if only used as a short ram. But, there aren't many other choices for the TL. Only ones I have seen are the Weapon-R models, which I don't know much about.
If you check out the install instructions available at KandN.com for the CAI, looks like a pretty simple install from the top for the short ram portion.

It's the same thing, basically.
The easiest way to install it is to remove the bumper so you can take off the OEM intake-thing. The SRI, however, has different mounting points and stops half-way. If you can find out a way to remove the top half of the OEM-intake-thing than that's all you will need. Just remove the stuff around the throttle body. I have a friend in Montreal who has a K&N SRI intake installed on his TL... the lower half of the intake-thing is still there.
It is better to just remove the entire OEM system so you can have easier access to the rest of the front of the car for future mods...
Like taking out your headlight, for example.
