Innovative Mounts 60A or 75A?

I have an 07 TL-S 6MT and my mods are in my sig, I just purchased RV6 PCDs and I'm going to install them as soon as I install new engine mounts. Now I love to get on my car, but I also drive it to work every day. I have a friend with a 2001 S4 and him and I love to race here and there. Im curious WHICH innovative mounts should I get? Whats the most appropriate for my set-up?

If not Innovative Mounts then what brand. I like the "lifetime warrantee." So 60a? or 75a?

Thanks and Happy Easter!

If you get Innovative Mounts, the 60A is NOT an option because it is too soft and will quickly deform (see pic below). The Innovative Mounts guarantee is tricky because you must send in the damaged mount(s) and wait for the replacement.... do you really want to do a R&R (remove and replace) twice within a month. The answer is no you don't. Replacing mounts are a huge PIA. So in general, the guarantee is not practical in real life.

If you get XLR8 mounts, the 60A *is* a viable option.

From people that have tried both 60A and 75A, they said that there was very little (or none) difference in the level of vibration between 60A and 75A. I recommend the 75A in either brand. I have 75A Innovative Mounts (purchased before XLR8 was making mounts)

If you want the least amount of vibration and a durable option I'd consider our XLR8 62A mounts. They are more durable than the Innovative mounts/bushings and they are a similar firmness.

^^^ completely agreed with Inaccurate...I too have the Innovative 75A and this is the stiffness you want...slight vibration with A/C on in drive at a stop, but that's it...no wheel hop and won't deform (doughnut) like the 60A...Innovative or XLR8, can't go wrong (although I kinda wish I got the XLR8 instead...)

Curious. How much rasp should I expect to a set-up like mine?

is your exhaust resonated? if not, you're gonna wanna weld in a resonator. magnaflow 10426 or larger. 4" or 6" diamater and 18-26" length will be fine.

resonated test pipe?

never heard of that one.

i would weld in a resonator if your exhaust does not have one.

but hey, install the pcd's...and see how you like it before you make any changes.

I ordered my Pre Cats Sunday and Mounts Monday. I already got the mounts in the mail! They look good. Is there a DIY for the Engine torque damper?

Was just looking around.. IS there a DIY for all three mounts? And Im also hearing about a bolt bottoming out on Innovative mounts? Curious if that is apparent with XLR8. https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/innovative-side-mount-install-advice-690624/

Id like a DIY specific to XLR8, does this exist? And a DIY for the XLR8 Engine Torque Damper? Thanks everyone.

I looked around at one time for one, never found it. I don't believe there is one.

Very small chance of having the bolt holes not lining-up with the frame. Because you are 6MT, unbearable vibration should not be too much of a concern like it is for the 5AT.
