On my 2004 Acura TL if I get a hondata flashpro tuner and the adapter would I need the 2007-2008 type s ecu?

Yes, if your car has a manual transmission. Auto transmission, you can't use Flash pro. Either way unless you have some pretty serious mods, don't waste your money. Look up the cost and steps needed to get everything to work.

You would need a new or used ECU from a 2007-2008 TL (MT) or a 2007 TL base (AT), along with the adapter harness, and the Hondata unit it's self.
