i got my choices down to three different exhausts the tanabe, ct,and XLR8. i need some help know the tanabe exhaust is like pulling teeth to get...

I have a video of my exhaust system .. but really .. videos do no justice .. you have to hear them in person to get the full effect.

 

I'm probably a noob still but I've never even heard of tanabe

Like I said .. the video doesn't do justice. I personally don't really like the way it sounds on the video opposed to real life.

I have J-pipe, ATLP Racepipe, Comptech exhaust with an Aero resonator.

it sound great, might sound alot better installed. i have 04 also with tien ss coilovers, and injen cai. in just starting out in this mods game...

 

can you get just the mufflers from any of these brands? cuz having a shop build a catback for you is much cheaper than a pre-made sytem that costs almost a grand

 

Nope, none of them will sell you just the mufflers. If they did they would lose business...

 

XLR8 non resonated quad exhaust is my vote, after my first choice of ATLP quads.

I was gonna get the CT but I decided to wait for the ATLP base. I really like the comptech's subdued tone at idle but a real nice tone at WOT. I vote CT
