I want to do some exhaust work on my 04. I saw some stuff on youtube about stage 3 exhaust and it looked like it ould be done pretty cheaply...any help or other ideas to get good sound and power for under 3 or 4 hunderd?

First, you need to know which Stage exhaust you'd like.

I would recommend Stage 3 (Dynomax Resonator) with the mid muffler delete. The whole job can be done for under $170 in most cases (parts included). You just have to find a muffler shop to do for under $120 and you're golden.

I ordered my Dynomax resonator from SummitRacing. They got it to me in 2 days and they also give you a free hat .

If you're willing to spend up to $400, I would save a few hundred more and look into the used Greddy and Comptech exhaust systems in the Black Market. The advantages of getting an entire catback exhaust system is you actually get some horsepower out of it, stage 3 offers nothing .. only a change in tone.

the only one which would give you mass power is to do a full catback 2.25" tubing removing both resonators, aside from that the rest are just sound modifications

$200 for the pulley, $60 - $80 for the install .. and it gives nice gains.

It makes your gas petal feel much lighter, the revs climb faster, and the throttle is much more responsive.

Great mod.

Yes the pulley is definitely worth it. Quicker revs, lighter weight, power across the entire RPM band.
