Stop messing with him guys.

The only guy that makes headers for our cars is Ron A. PM him and he'll get ya hooked up.

You obviously don't have a clue about what you are talking about.

if you havent noticed OP, on the 3rd gen TL the heads are cast on to the block.
so, we dont have the need for headers.

catalytic converters are coming off the heads; and we replace these cats with straight pipes.

Most everyone does the Jpipe mod first.
ya know to test waters to see if they would like to further mod the exhaust.

I did jpipe; and then wanted more power.
so, I bought Pre-cat deletes; or PCDs.
these straight pipes replaced the cats.

However there are drawbacks to PCDs.
with PCDs:

you might not pass emissions; depending on how strict your emission testing is.
2nd, there is a smell and sound that come with PCDs

since you're replacing the cats with straight pipe; you get a raw machine gasoline smell.
almost like a weed wacker.

the straight pipe is thinner in material; and as the exhaust gas passes through; it will emit a raspy sound.

Long tube headers. Or Tri Y's that go 4-2-1 for increased midrange torque.

No really though, I voted headers. Just imagine, cut the headers off the block and weld on some PnP ones that are 4 inches in diameter. w00t!

heads are new material. Especially since in 1999 cars actually have headers while 2004+ have a single port outlet : )

Since red is played out I will use pink
